Description

Item Manager is a complete inventory, loot, pickup, vendor, backpack, and loot-presentation overhaul for Borderlands 2.

The goal is to make loot management faster and more modern without replacing Borderlands 2's native item systems. Item Manager is built as one coordinated item-management system: Auto Sell, Auto Pickup, Lost Loot Recovery, Backpack handling, Vendor Actions, player-drop protection, loot effects, map markers, and inventory transactions all work through carefully separated game-engine contracts.

The mod is designed around a simple idea: reduce inventory busywork without taking control away from the player.

You can automatically collect useful loot, automatically sell unwanted world drops according to configurable rules, recover missed loot, expand your backpack, sell marked Trash directly from vending machines, refill ammo or health with a single button, and display configurable loot markers on the map and minimap.

Item Manager is deliberately conservative around mission items, player-dropped equipment, vendor purchases, scripted rewards, and uncertain item states. When the mod cannot safely determine whether an operation is valid, it generally fails closed and lets Borderlands 2 handle the item normally.
