A package mod that re-enables the console for the BioShock (2007).
Developer Console - BioShock (2007) Console Enabler
Description
Developer Console is a simple package mod for BioShock (2007) that turns the game's built-in developer console back on.
The retail game still contains the entire developer console. However, the game stripped out the Console. KeyEvent function code that opens it with the keyboard, so nothing happens when you try to open it.
This mod re-adds the functionality 2K disabled many years ago, similar to my previous mods AdamVile and AdamReborn. This time, no plugin loader is needed. It is simply a package you enable by editing an .ini file. The game's own code handles everything else, so it looks and works just like the stock console, and the game's original Engine.u is left unchanged.
-
