📋 About This Mod
This mod increases prices of basic trade goods such as fur or salt by 50%. More luxurious goods and products of workshops are much more expensive. This results in more income from workshops, more income from manual trade and probably more income from caravans (need to test this one yet).
Since version 1. 1. 0 weapon and armor production of cieties and specialized workshops is increased. Cities will now be able to produce more mid tier weapons and armors and some high tier ones. Blacksmith, Tannery and wool weavery will now produce its respective armors and other gear. Blacksmiths will produce much more high tier weapons and armors than before (if there is enough raw material).

This gameplay mod boosts the economy by increasing prices of basic trade goods by 50%, with luxury items and workshop products costing much more, leading to higher income from workshops and manual trade. Version 1.1.0 also increases weapon and armor production in cities and specialized workshops, allowing for more mid-tier and some high-tier gear. It's for players who want a more profitable and production-heavy economy.

- Adds a meaningful economic challenge by inflating prices, making trade more rewarding.
- Enhances production, giving blacksmiths and other workshops a bigger role.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in April 2021 — may not be compatible with the latest game version.
- Caravan income increase is unconfirmed by the author ('need to test this one yet').
- Price increases might make early game harder if you rely on buying basic goods.
For players who want a more dynamic economy where trade and production feel impactful. If you enjoy managing workshops and seeing your cities churn out better gear, this is for you. Skip if you prefer a vanilla-balanced economy or don't want to deal with price inflation.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using other economy mods, load this one after them to ensure its changes take priority.
- Test caravan income in a sandbox save before committing to a long campaign, since the author notes it's untested.
- Pair with the Realistic Battle Mod (co-authored by the same creator) for a more challenging combat experience.
