MapBlockade Core Features
-
[]Campaign-Map City Blockade: Enemy-kingdom parties cannot travel to regions that require passing through ≥2 enemy blockading cities; blocked parties stand at attention in place and pick a new destination at the next hourly decision. When the player hovers over a blocked destination, the cursor turns into a disabled cursor and clicking to navigate is refused, with a hover hint explaining the reason. Attacking a blockading city itself is unaffected, and besieging parties camp outside the blockade band. Neutral parties, bandits, and other non-kingdom factions are unaffected.[/]
[]Campaign-Map Blockade Walls & Towers: On the campaign map, wall entities are drawn segment by segment along the wall placement line saved for each city, with fortress towers placed at intervals on top, visually showing where blockades intercept; the style is matched to the city's culture and wall tier.[/]
[]Player Party Navigation Path: On the campaign map, the player party's current navigation route is drawn as a green polyline; as the party travels, each passed segment disappears from the front of the line, making the detour's direction easy to see at a glance.[/]
[]Debug & Data Tools: Kingdom-reachability image export, map-topology XML export, a dedicated blockade log file and sample-point correction debug, a performance profiler, villager-party spawning debug, and more, for troubleshooting and tuning the blockade system.[/]
MapBlockade Full Feature Guide
I. Blockade Settings
[]Campaign-Map City Blockade: When enabled, enemy-kingdom parties cannot travel to regions that require passing through ≥2 enemy blockading cities (passing through 1 blockading city = attacking that blockading city itself is still allowed). Blocked parties stand at attention (Hold) in place and pick a new destination at the next hourly decision; when the player hovers over a blocked destination, the cursor automatically turns into a disabled cursor and clicking to navigate is refused. Neutral parties, bandits, and other non-kingdom factions are not affected in any way. Takes effect in real time.[/]
[]Out-of-Band Siege Camping: When attacking an enemy city enclosed by its own blockade band (AI army/lord auto-siege, the player clicking to travel to the city, or joining a friendly army that marches there), the march destination is rewritten from the gate inside the blockade band to a staging point just outside the band, directly facing the gate — the party stays outside the band for the entire siege, and can march out from there immediately after capturing the city, lifting the siege, or making peace, without crossing the band again. Arriving at the staging point still triggers the normal siege-start (NPC) / enemy-city menu (player) flow. No separate toggle; follows "Campaign-Map City Blockade".[/]
[]Campaign-Map Blockade Wall: On the campaign map, wall entities are placed segment by segment along the wall placement line (`<outline>` polyline) saved for each city in `map_blockades.xml` under this mod's ModuleData directory (the style is matched to the city's culture and wall tier), visually showing where blockades intercept. Rebuilt every time you enter the campaign-map view; removed immediately when disabled. Takes effect in real time.[/]
[]Blockade Wall Scale: The uniform scale multiplier for campaign-map blockade wall entities (1. 0 = the vanilla resource's original size, range 0. 5~3. 0). Takes effect the next time you enter the campaign-map view.[/]
[*]Blockade Towers on Walls: Places fortress towers on the blockade walls at intervals — one tower at the middle of every N-th wall segment (by default every other segment), st
