Description

Kingdom Army Commander gives players more direct control over their kingdom’s military strategy.

As king, you can order your lords or hired mercenaries to create their own armies and march toward specific locations, making it easier to coordinate campaigns, defend key settlements, or pressure enemy territory without personally leading every force yourself.

Vassals can now also request permission from their king to become army commanders, allowing them to create armies with other lords once authorized. Mercenaries may request similar permission, letting them lead armies in the name of the kingdom they currently serve.

Instead of watching your kingdom’s armies act like loose cats in plate armor, this mod lets you play the role of a true commander: assigning objectives, organizing forces, granting authority, and shaping the movement of your realm’s armies from a broader strategic level.

The goal of the mod is to expand army command and kingdom coordination while keeping the experience grounded in Bannerlord’s existing campaign, kingdom, and army systems.

Recommended for players who feel that becoming king should mean more than just wearing the fanciest hat in Calradia, and for vassals or mercenaries who think they deserve a little more trust from the crown.

Main features

Army Commander:

• Order kingdom lords or mercenaries to create new armies

• Send armies toward selected locations

• Change Army Behavior by sending orders.

• Monitor kingdom-level military stats more directly

• Integrates with Bannerlord’s existing campaign and army mechanics

• Request permission from the king to become an army commander

• Create armies with other lords once permission is granted

Mercenaries:

• Request permission from the king to lead armies for the kingdom they serve

• Create armies while serving the kingdom, if authorized

• New Policy that allows hired Mercenary Clans to form their own Armies in the name of the kingdom

Installation instructions

Download the .zip, extract it inside your Modules folder.

The folder structure should look something like this:

C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\STEAM\STEAMAPPS\COMMON\MOUNT & BLADE II BANNERLORD\MODULES\ARMYCOMMANDER

----SubModule.xml

Use your preferred antivirus to scan ArmyCommander.dll

Then Unblock "ArmyCommander.dll" manually or use this command INSIDE THE "MODULES" FOLDER:

dir -Recurse | Unblock-File
