A quick explaination is that Santas Rescue (Option B) is kind of just an escape the interaction because you can't fight, go to a friendly town, gear up and buy troops, then sometimes spring back to the encounter (or if it leaves you in town you can run back). It will bring you to your home town lol.

JUST AS AN EXPLAINATION for why the mod doesn't quite work as it used to:
In recent Bannerlord patches, unlike in the beta, when you heal the player in the fight menu the enemy party is the only one to load in usually. The friendly party will not load and you'll automatically lose the fight
For Santas Rescue Enjoyers:
This mod was mainly made to wait out christmas time (sorry I love Christmas too much) when I couldn't work on a mod while I solved the bug of the friendly party not loading. I am still trying.

In the future when Proper Edition is working again:
Heavily recommend usage with RTS Camera Mod (I load Just Let Me Fight after or at the bottom of the load order)
Enemy armies won't stop coming? Auto-Resolve got you down? You know what? Just let me fight! I want to command my own troops even if I'm severely wounded. (Adds a button to the wounded siege/battle screen called "Let Me Fight") click it.to show the "Fight" button.
Using in conjunction with RTS Camera Mod
Using a mod like RTS Camera mod while using Just Let Me Fight will allow the player to have agency over an NPC rather than just the orders functions.
To original Let Me Fight users who miss the original functionality: TY! for your understanding. I'm working on a mod soon that just autoheals the player after a combat encounter so that you'll always be able to use your main character at 20 HP with no depends but yeah just wait for that.
