What is this?

It's a mod that brings more control over your favorite companion in the game.

It's strange that in a game called "Mount&Blade" - mounts are treated like an afterthought. They seem unimportant, you barely feel bad after your mount gets killed in battle, and so on. So I said, why not make them better? Why not make them feel like actual companions? After replaying RDR2 and coming back to Bannerlord, I realized how mechanical it felt to ride the horses. I also noticed how much extra attention I was giving to my horse in RDR2, because you feel a connection with that animal (also, they're not cheap). So I thought, why don't I create a similar system in Bannerlord, where you can bond with your horse based on how much you use them and so on. I also wanted to address something that was bugging me since day one - not being able to select the coat of your horse. So I decided to create this mod.

How does it work?

By default, your mount is a simple mount. No name, no connection. You need to take your horse to a stable in any town and give it a name. Or, you can also buy any horse you want, with any coat color you want.

Every day you spend on your mount in your campaign map days will increase the bond progress with your horse. Once you reach 100, your bonding level will increase. This will increase the speed, maneuverability, and charge damage to your horse depending on your bonding level. Higher bonding you will have, faster it will go and so on. You will also be able to track certain information about your horse in stables, such as your progress, how many days you used the horse, how many battles you participated in. Joining battles in person with your horse will also increase your bonding progress.

Stables:

Stables are the core place where you see stats of your mount and do your transactions. You can pick any mount with coat color of your desire and name that horse to start the bonding process. After the moment of bonding, your horse will be unique to you and each horse you bonded will have their own stats.

Bonding:

Bonding starts when you name your mount. Based on the days you use this mount and amount of battles you participated with the horse, this will increase the progress and level up. Each level will add to your horse's stats. Meaning that if your bonding level is at max, your horse is likely to have way higher charge damage, speed and maneuver skills.

Horse Kick:

If your bonding level with your mount is 1 or higher, you can press Q and kick the enemies behind you. Beware, horses don't care who's behind them. You can
