In the beta version, the hitmarkers would only appear when using ranged weapons. When we got the early access, they also started using this feature for melee weapons. If seeing hitmarkers for melee weapons bothers you like me, you can use this mod.
If you also don't want hitmarkers to show up when using ranged weapons, you can edit "settings.ini" file according to your needs.
