📋 About This Mod
Raises the party size limit for attacking hideouts, allowing you to bring all of your party, or just a certain number of troops. Created for version 1. 0. 7, but should be compatible with future versions.
Updated to use submodules instead of replacing game files, allowing the mod to work even if the game updates and enabling compatibility with other mods. Credit to vrostu and DzjengisKhan for their submodule code.
There are several versions: The default version with no troop troop limit, as well as 15, 20, 25, 50, and 90-troop versions. The default version with no limit is known to cause crashes if you have over 100 troops, so using the lower troop limit versions is recommended, with 15-25 being the closest to balanced. Use ONLY ONE version at a time.
INSTALLATION:
- Extract the mod folder to your "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord/Modules" folder. It should show as, for example, "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord/Modules/Hideout Party Limit Removed 15".
- Open the game launcher, click the Singleplayer tab, then the Mods tab, and enable the 'Hideout Party Limit Removed' mod.
If your game is crashing on start-up, the mod file may be blocked by your computer. This has been an issue with some mods because the mods are dll files. Try following these steps:
1. Go to "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\HideoutPartyLimitRemoved\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client"
2. Right-click on the .dll file, click properties.
3. At the bottom of the window, there may be text that says "This file came from another
computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer." Check the checkbox next to it that says "Unblock" and click OK, then try starting the game again.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust with 8,457 endorsements and 289,282 downloads.
- Flexible options—pick your own troop cap from 15 to 90 or go unlimited.
- Submodule approach means it survives game updates and plays nice with other mods.
⚠️ Cons
- No-limit version can crash if you bring over 100 troops—stick to the capped versions.
- Last updated in April 2020—might not work with the latest Bannerlord patches.
- You can only use one version at a time, so you have to pick your cap and stick with it.
For Bannerlord players who hate the default hideout troop cap and want to bring their full warband to smash bandit dens. Also great for modders who want a stable, submodule-based fix. Skip if you're fine with the vanilla limit or prefer a more balanced challenge.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Extract the mod folder directly into your Bannerlord Modules directory—don't just drop the .zip there.
- In the launcher, go to Singleplayer > Mods and tick the box for 'Hideout Party Limit Removed' before starting a game.
- If the game crashes on startup, right-click the .dll file in the mod's bin folder, go to Properties, and check 'Unblock' if it's there.
