📋 About This Mod

  • []Every equipment slot gets a small button showing the best item found. Hover it to preview the item in the native comparison tooltip, left-click to equip it.[/]

[]The Equip all button kits out the current hero, or you can do the whole party at once. The plan is worked out up front, so an item pulled off one hero is still available to the next instead of being lost.[/]

[]Each slot has its own search filter, separate for every hero and every equipment set (battle, civilian, stealth). A filter holds your stat preferences (weights from -1 to +1 with influence shares in percent, or a priority order — depending on the method), a pinned weapon class (short bow, long bow, one-handed axe, large shield, and so on), a culture restriction and a weight limit. The Set as default button makes the current filter the standard for every hero you haven't customized by hand.[/]

[]The "Why this?" button in a slot's filter explains the pick honestly: which stats decided it, where the item falls short, and what to tweak for a different outcome. Computed by the mod itself — instant, no AI involved.[/]

[]Merchant panel lock: you decide whether the search may "buy out" the shop or stick to your own inventory.[/]

[]Translated into every language the game ships with.[/]

[]AI assistant if you want it (see below). Everything works without it too.[/]

Three ways to score items (picked in the settings):

  • []Parameter weights (default). Balanced scoring: every stat is rated against all items of its class, mod items included, so one inflated stat can't outweigh everything else. A swap is only suggested when the new item is genuinely better — no downside on other stats, or a clearly higher score.[/]

[]Stat priority (experimental, feedback welcome). Strict ranking: the top stat decides, and ties fall through to the next one. In the slot filter the stats become draggable chips — drop one between rows to reorder, or onto a row to link two stats as equal rank.[/]

[]Game Effectiveness. The game's own single quality score, nothing to set up.[/]

    • []Left-click a slot button — equip the previewed item.[/]

[]Right-click a slot button — open its filter. The filter adapts to the search method: weight sliders, draggable priority chips, or — in Effectiveness mode — just the class, culture and weight-limit constraints. Default resets the filter, Set as default turns it into the shared standard, Clear resets just the stat preferences (weapon class, culture and weight limit stay), Lock takes the slot out of searching.[/]

[]Hold Left Alt to reveal hidden slot buttons (otherwise, when there's no better item, you can't reach the settings).[/]

[]Two plaques sit at the top of the center panel. Left — merchant-panel search lock and "equip all heroes". Right — "equip current hero" and inventory search lock (plus the AI button once a backend is configured).[/]

      AI assistant (optional)

Press the AI button and just say what you want, in any language. The AI only rewrites the slot filters — it never equips anything itself; the previews recompute and its replies land in the message log. It speaks the language of your search method: weights, or a priority order like "hit points above all, then speed and armor equally".

You can also ask it questions. Answers are built on the mod's real numbers — the AI is not allowed to invent stats, and for a specific item the mod looks it up by name and lays the comparison out precisely.

[]"just give me better gear" — picks the best for every slot with default filters[/]

[]"find better armor" / "pick my weapons" — armor slots only, or weapons only[/]

[]"dress me in the lightest gear" — starts valuing low weight, light items win[/]

[]"a helmet with maximum protection" — raises head armor's weight for the helmet slot[/]

[]"shield: hit points above all, then speed" — builds a stat order (in priority mode)[/]

[]"a one-handed axe in the first weapon slot" — pins a weapon class to the slot[/]

[]"give me a short bow and plenty of arrows" — a bow in one slot, the biggest arrow stack in another[/]

[]"imperial armor only" — restricts the search to a culture[/]

      [*]"a helmet no heavier
