Cultured Start Reloaded

Bannerlord character creation, overhauled. Take a guided life story, a full stat-and-gear editor, or vanilla unchanged, and begin as anything from a commoner to a reigning monarch who founds their own kingdom.

Bannerlord v1. 3. 15 through v1. 5. 2, as a main download and a BETA download. Needs Harmony, ButterLib and MCM. Start a new campaign to see it.

  []Eight starting scenarios, each with its own chapters, resources and consequences:

  []Commoner, Mercenary, Landless Vassal, Landed Vassal - the ordinary ways up.[/]

  []Monarch - found a kingdom, name it, choose its founding story, traditions, sworn houses, policies, the realms you start at war with, and castles to seize.[/]

  []Outlaw, Caravan Master, Rebel Clan - a band of followers, caravans and workshops, or rebel-allied castles.[/]

[]A full editor when you want one - attributes, focus, skill levels, perks and traits, in bulk or one at a time.[/]

[]Every gear slot, your way - a searchable armory with culture, class and tier filters, or an automatic quartermaster; battle, civilian and stealth outfits, your mount and your banner.[/]

[]The rest of your start, set by hand - gold, influence, troops, renown, level, and what your wagons carry.[/]

[]Your family and companions, decided - how many relatives, their ages, whether they live and who they married; each companion's role, level, exact skills and exact gear.[/]

[]See it before you commit - a 3D preview you can rotate, zoom, drag and reset, named presets that save and load a whole setup, and a clean restore if you close without saving.[/]

[]Story Mode is supported - choose how far along the main story you already are, and the campaign picks up from there with the tutorial skipped.[/]

[]It bends to your other mods - clan tier, renown, companion and party caps are read from the running game, so an overhaul that changes them rescales the editor instead of breaking it.[/]

[]War Sails content appears if you own it - the Mariner, Boatswain and Shipmaster skills and naval gear, skipped cleanly when the DLC is absent.[/]

  []Harmony 2. 4. 2, ButterLib 2. 11. 1 and Mod Configuration Menu 5. 12. 2 or newer.[/]

  []The War Sails DLC is optional. Its content appears only if you own it.[/]

  📥 Installation

  • []On the Files tab, use Mod manager download to install it through Vortex, or Manual download and extract the zip so ...\Modules\Cultured Start Reloaded exists.[/]

    []Enable Cultured Start Reloaded in the launcher, below Harmony, ButterLib and MCM.[/]

    []Start a new campaign. Character creation opens on the three-route choice.[/]

    To remove it, disable it in the launcher and delete ...\Modules\Cultured Start Reloaded.

    If the mod does not load, right-click each .dll in its folder, open Properties, and tick Unblock: Windows blocks files extracted from a downloaded zip.

    ⚙️ Configuration

    Everything is in the MCM options screen under Cultured Start Reloaded. Editor presets are saved as files under Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs\CulturedStartReloaded\Presets.
