Invest in Recruits

In the Town Keep menu, recruitment investment can be enabled or disabled for a daily gold cost.

While active, the player receives 1 culture troop every day.

• []Troop tier increases with the player’s Leadership skill.[/]

  []Recruitment pauses when the party is full.[/]

  []Recruitment stops automatically when there is not enough gold.[/]

  []Empire characters receive a discount on recruitment investment.[/]

Different cultures give different bonuses to the player!

• []Daily XP to Leadership, Scouting, and Trade.[/]

  []Daily Steward XP for every caravan owned by the player.[/]

  []+2 companion and caravan-leader capacity.[/]

Battania

• []Daily XP to Athletics, Bow, and Two-Handed.[/]

  []Daily upgrade XP to ranged troops in the player’s party.[/]

  []+4% campaign movement speed.[/]

  []+10 prisoner capacity.[/]

Empire

• []Daily XP to Leadership, Engineering, and Steward.[/]

  []Gains 1 influence every two days while serving a kingdom.[/]

  []+15 party capacity.[/]

  []20% cheaper recruitment investment.[/]

Khuzait

• []Daily XP to Riding, Bow, and Scouting.[/]

  []Daily upgrade XP to mounted troops in the player’s party.[/]

  []+6% campaign movement speed.[/]

  []+20% inventory carrying capacity.[/]

Sturgia

• []Daily XP to One-Handed, Athletics, and Roguery.[/]

  []Daily upgrade XP to infantry troops in the player’s party.[/]

  []+10 maximum hit points.[/]

  []10% lower troop wages.[/]

Vlandia

• []Daily XP to Polearm, Crossbow, and Riding.[/]

  []+50 denars per owned workshop every day.[/]

  []10% cheaper troop recruitment.[/]

Nord / War Sails

  []Daily upgrade XP to infantry and ranged troops.[/]

  []+8 maximum hit points.[/]

  []+5% movement speed while travelling at sea.[/]

  []+8 party morale while at sea.[/]

Active effects are shown as Culture Bonus entries in relevant game tooltips and settlement menus. Custom or unrecognised cultures receive safe basic skill progression without incorrect bonuses.
