Features:-
[]Wide array of professionally made historical assets from the early middle ages with many variations for each culture.[/]
[]Overhauled major faction troops and lords, most minor factions and some civilian clothing sets.[/]
[]Optional armory only module.[/]
Important notes:-
[]Vanilla equipment is incompatible. The equipment format wasn't designed for Bannerlord originally; This means that legs and torso pieces are separate, so wearing no pants gets you invisible legs.[/]

The first few times you load into the game (battles, arena, inventory, etc.) will take a very long time because the game is compiling shaders.
You can try setting bannerlord to high priority in task manager if it stalls.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 355 endorsements and over 42k downloads.
- Historically inspired assets with many variations per culture, adding depth to the early medieval setting.
- Active development (last updated July 2026) with Discord and Patreon support.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires three separate mods and manual load order setup, which can be intimidating for new modders.
- Vanilla equipment is incompatible, forcing you to use the mod's gear or risk invisible legs.
- Minor factions and War Sails troops are still WIP, so some content is incomplete.
For Bannerlord players who want a historically grounded overhaul with high-quality armor and faction changes. If you're a modding veteran comfortable with load orders and dependencies, this is a must-try. Skip if you prefer vanilla-friendly mods or want a quick plug-and-play experience.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Disable RBM's troop overhaul in its settings, as Anno Domini handles troop changes itself.
- Unblock the .dll files from RBM before launching the game to avoid crashes.
- Set Bannerlord to high priority in Task Manager if the game stalls during shader compilation on first loads.
