Mazzle's Photo Hub

Mazzle's Photo Hub lets you brings any photo on your hard drive into the game.  Users of Tav's Journal can now not only see photos in-game, they can also choose which photos to add to a journal using a photo picker.  No more typing in file paths!

You can also use this tool without Tav's Journal to just browse and enjoy your photos.  (You'll still need MazzleDocs.)

The only way to bring photos into BG3 is to insert them into a mod. Unfortunately, there is no way to modify mods while the game is running.

Mazzle's Photo Hub works around this limitation by providing a tool you can use to share your images before starting the game.  Any of the images you choose to share will be converted into a format that will then be injected into a special mod that the game can read when it starts up.

Once the game is running, you can access any of the images or folders you shared through the in-game interface.  There will also be a MazzleDoc added called "My Photo Album" that you can browse to see all of your shared images in one place.

Installation

(1) Download Mazzle's Photo Hub and Mazzle's Photo Hub Mod

There will be two downloads.  One is the Mazzle Photo Hub application, which you run outside of the game to select and share your photos.  The other is a small mod that you install into your Mods folder.  This mod acts as a bridge between the Photo Hub app and the game itself.

(2) Install the Mazzle's Photo Hub Application (python script)

You can put the Photo Hub folder anywhere you like on your hard drive.  Just remember where you put it, because you will need to run it in between game launches. If you'd like, you can make a shortcut to it on your desktop.

(3) Install the Mazzle's Photo Hub Mod

Install the mod however you normally install and enable mods.  For example, if you use BG3MM, drop the mod into the right pane, move it to the left "enabled" pane, export your order list and launch the game.

TLDR Instructions

Quit BG3, press Start, pick your photos, press Share, launch BG3

Detailed Instructions:

(1) Make sure BG3 isn't running and double-click on the Mazzle Photo Hub script ("Mazzle_Photo_Hub.py").

This will launch the Photo Hub application.

If this is the fist time you have launched the app, click on the Settings Tab.
