Head VFX Universal Automatic Patcher (UAP)

Head VFX Universal Automatic Patcher (UAP) automatically patches cinematic head VFX for custom heads, making them work right out of the box - no head VFX compatibility patches needed from authors.

Simply add it to your load order and forget.

This effectively replaces Padme's Patches_for_VFX_Heads

Why you need it

Without Head VFX UAP, custom heads can miss cinematic head-targeted VFX because those timeline material groups only reference the heads they were explicitly patched for, i.e. vanilla heads. This means authors (or Padme...) need to ship static, manual compatibility patches so heads receive those effects correctly during cutscenes, such as when casting Speak with Dead, etc.

Head VFX UAP does this at runtime instead, automatically, for all modded heads.

Installation is the same as any other pak mod and can be performed with new and existing saves:
