Respec Illithid Powers

Description

This mod allows you to respec and refund all Illithid Powers you've assigned in the Illithid Power skill tree. It fully refunds all skill points, allowing you to re-assign them.

Requirements

Requires Norbyte's Script Extender. Install the Script Extender either by manually following the steps listed in the linked Github page, or install it through BG3 Mod Manager by going to "Tools" -> "Download & Extract Script Extender"

Installation

Install with BG3 Mod Manager. Remember to also install Norbyte's Script Extender (see above)! Installing with Vortex hasn't been verified, but I have no reason to believe it shouldn't work.

How to Use

• []Talk to Withers in camp

  []Select his "Can you help me change my class?" dialog option

  []Illithid Powers skill points will now have been refunded

  []Either go through with the class respec, or just cancel out of it by clicking the X in the top right corner (Illithid Powers will be refunded even if you cancel out of the class respec)

  Localization

  Since this mod hooks into the class respec feature, it should work fine for all languages. Just find the corresponding class respec dialog in your language from Withers.

  Known Issues

  • []Oathbreaker Paladins can't respec without atoning first

    []You can't use the class respec feature without also respecing Illithid Powers

    Future Work

    • []Offer Illithid Powers respec without having to go through the class respec feature.
