📋 About This Mod

Death Domain Cleric with full level 20 progression. Implemented as written.

Patch 8 compatible. This does not conflict with Larian's Death Domain. You can safely use this for full level 20 progression and/or reaper compatibility without issue.

1st: False Life, Ray of Sickness

2nd: Blindness, Ray of Enfeeblement

3rd: Animate Dead, Vampiric Touch

4th: Blight, Death Ward

5th: Antilife Shell, Cloudkill

Optional patch for Mystra's Spells changes Antilife Shell to Enervation, or vanilla spell patch changes Antilife Shell to Insect Plague.

You also gain proficiency with martial weapons.

You learn one Necromancy cantrip of your choice from any spell list.

When you cast a Necromancy cantrip that normally targets only one creature, the spell can instead target two creatures within range.

This is a toggleable passive.

This works for all spell mods out of the box.

You can use Channel Divinity to destroy another creature's life force by touch.

When you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can use Channel Divinity to deal extra necrotic damage to the target.

The damage equals 5 + twice your cleric level.

This is a reaction.

Necrotic damage dealt by your Cleric spells and Channel Divinity options ignores resistance to Necrotic damage.

At the 8th, once per turn you may deal 1d8 Necrotic damage in addition to your weapon's damage. At the 14th level, this increases to 2d8.

Alternatively, at level 8, you may take Blessed Strikes instead of Divine Strike. This is an option for spellcasters.

Once per turn, you may deal 1d8 Necrotic damage in addition to your weapon attack or cantrip. This does not upgrade in damage.

When you cast a necromancy spell of 1st through 5th level that targets only one creature, the spell can instead target two creatures within range.

This is a toggleable passive.

Compatibility Framework is required for the class to show up.

You also need to have 5e Spells installed, or Mystra's Spells (use the optional patch), otherwise you'll be missing some Domain Spells. Or you can use the vanilla patch if you're really opposed to more spells.

Expansion is recommended, but you can still play this at level 12. Unlock Level Curve probably works fine too.

Also requires my library for some shared scripts.

Reaper and Improved Reaper are natively compatible with all spell mods.

Reaper cantrip selection supports:

My Spellbook, Mystra's Spells, Shadow Burst Cantrip, Veenab Spells, Dawnstar's Grimoire, Dawnstar's Arcane Spells, Dawnstar's Necromancy Spells, Elemental Cantrips, Infamously Lore-Friendly Cantrips, Additional Blade Cantrips

✨ Key Features

Implements Death Domain cleric subclass with full level 20 progression.
Optional level 12 patch available.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • 295 endorsements show a solid following for a niche subclass mod.
  • Full level 20 progression means you're covered from start to endgame.
  • Optional level 12 patch gives flexibility for different campaign lengths.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only two features listed—no details on spells or abilities, so you're flying blind until you try it.
  • May conflict with other cleric subclass mods or class overhauls—no compatibility info provided.
🎯 Is This For You?
For players who want to play a death-themed cleric with full progression. If you're into darker divine builds or need a subclass for an evil campaign, this is worth a shot. Skip if you're looking for a subclass with extensive documentation or unique mechanics beyond the theme.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • If you're playing a campaign that ends around level 12, grab the optional patch to avoid balance issues.
  • Check your other class mods for compatibility—death domain might overlap with existing subclass overhauls.
  • Since the description is sparse, test the subclass in a save editor or on a test character to see what spells and features you get.
