First Skip Choice is a quality-of-life/customisation mod for Balatro that lets you choose the reward offered for skipping the first Small Blind of every new run.

Installation instructions

• []Install Steamodded and Lovely[/]

  []Download First Skip Choice.[/]

  []Extract the mod folder into your Balatro Mods folder, or install it through a compatible mod manager.[/]

  []Launch Balatro.[/]

  Mods → First Skip Choice → Config[/]

  []Select the desired first Small Blind skip reward. The choice is saved automatically and applies to newly started runs.[/]

Main features

• []Choose the first Small Blind skip reward instead of restarting for a preferred result.[/]

  []Includes a Random (vanilla) option that restores normal Balatro reward generation.[/]

  []Includes standard early-run tag rewards.[/]

  []Includes normally Ante-2-only rewards for custom runs.[/]

  []Shows an in-game warning when selecting a reward unavailable during vanilla first-round play.[/]

  []Does not change later skip rewards, existing runs, or the Skip Blind button itself.[/]

Note: selecting an Ante-2-only reward for the first Small Blind is intentional custom/non-vanilla behavior.
