Balatro - Hidden Aces Edition (DISCONTINUED BUT FUNCTIONAL)

Balatro - Hidden Aces Edition is a complete game overhaul that makes the game far easier. It would be apt to call it a cheat mod.

Thanks to everybody who supported my mod and me over the years I've spent modding. I haven't been very good at maintaining any of them, but I'm happy some found enjoyment in them. The time to live in the real world has come and put away this fake wired life. I pray peace be with all of you. Goodbye.

MOD REBUILT FOR NEWEST VERSION:

>Start with 4 discards, 4 consumable slots, 10 dollars.

>Discard 10 cards at a time.

>Blinds give twice as much money.

>Editions are more powerful. Negatives provide 3 extra slots.

>Vouchers are more powerful.

>Card packs contain more cards and you can select more.

>Tarot cards are more powerful.

>Tags are more powerful. Juggler hand size increase is permanent.

I may implement some of the old version card changes soon.

Pairs well with the Cryptid mod.

NOTICE: Steam modded overwrites some values, namely the edition numbers. If you want to fix foil, holo, poly, and negative numbers, I'll write a tutorial below:

1) Go to the steammodded folder in your mods folder

2) Open folder "src"

3) Open "game_object.lua" with notepad (recommend notepad++)

4) Go to line 2943 and change "setmetatable({ chips = 50}" to "setmetatable({ chips = 100 }"

5) Go to line 2967 and change "setmetatable({ mult = 10 }" to "setmetatable({ mult = 20 }"

5) Go to line 2991 and change "setmetatable({ x_mult = 1. 5 }" to "setmetatable({ x_mult = 2 }"

5) Go to line 3015 and change "setmetatable({ card_limit = 1 }" to "setmetatable({ card_limit = 3 }"

6) Save changes and you should be good to go!

OLD VERSION:

Below is a quick overview on some changes you may notice, though not all of them:

>Start with 4 discards instead of 3.

>Default consumable slots is increased from 2 to 4.

>Blinds give twice as much money upon success.

>Editions are more powerful. Many bonuses are doubled. Negative jokers provide more joker slots.

>Vouchers are more powerful.

>Card packs contain more cards and you can select more.

>Tarot cards are more powerful (Yes, including Wheel of Fortune).

>You can select up to 10 cards for discard at a time.

>Complete tag overhaul. Removed blind skip holo/foil/poly and increased chance of negatives to compensate. Juggler hand size increase is permanent.

>Made holo/foil/poly editions have ranging mult instead of normal effects.

>Complete spectral card overhaul, they are more powerful and without detrimental effects. NOTE: Ankh says it removes negative from copy, but it doesn't.

>Yorik legendary joker now gives 5x mult per rare card, like Baseball Card with uncommo
