Scalables

Scalables is a Balatro content mod focused on one simple idea: almost everything can keep getting stronger.

Instead of giving you effects that stay at one fixed value, this mod adds Jokers, consumables, enhanced playing cards, vouchers, and a custom deck that grow throughout your run. The more you reroll, open packs, sell cards, score hands, defeat Boss Blinds, and use Scalables content, the stronger your build becomes.

Build slowly, stack upgrades, and watch ordinary cards turn into ridiculous late-game machines.

The Scaling Deck

The Scaling Deck increases the rank of every playing card in your deck after each completed round.

Cards progress normally through the ranks:

2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6 → 7 → 8 → 9 → 10 → Jack → Queen → King → Ace

After reaching Ace, the card wraps back around to 2.

Cards added to your deck later are also affected, allowing the entire deck to continue changing throughout the run. This creates constantly shifting straights, rank-based builds, face-card strategies, and unusual deck-planning decisions.

The deck also works with Scalables content that reacts when card ranks increase.

Scalable Jokers

Reroll Engine

Gains Mult whenever the shop is rerolled.

A simple early-game Joker that rewards aggressive shop searching and becomes much stronger in money-heavy builds.

Pack Rat

Gains Chips whenever a Booster Pack is opened.

Turns every pack into a permanent upgrade, making even disappointing Booster Packs useful.
