Ace Attorney Balatro Mod

Description

An Ace Attorney-themed Balatro mod designed to reskin a majority of the base experience with cards, Jokers, consumables, and more. This is intended to (hopefully!) stick close to the base Balatro design ethos, and not stray too far outside what the original game would do - just in an Ace Attorney-themed package. There are two folders in this mod, one for the card skins, and one for the modded Jokers/seals/Tarot/etc.

Installation Instructions

  Main features

  This is an Ace Attorney-themed mod for Balatro with:

  • []3 decks (The Ace Attorney, The Great Detective, The Prosecution)[/]

    []130+ Ace Attorney jokers (a mix of entirely new Jokers and base game Jokers reskinned)[/]

    []1 new seal and 1 new enhancement (Psyche Lock seal and Channeled enhancement)[/]

    []2 new Tarot cards designed to interact with the new seal and enhancement (The Medium and The Spirit)[/]

    []1 new consumable as part of The Prosecution deck[/]

    []Reskinned cards with various characters from the games (art by okartichoke and eclecticjaceart)[/]

    I have not tested this with many other mods, so your compatibility may vary! I will likely only come back to fix major bugs within the mod itself. I'm not a good enough coder to make this work with other mods it conflicts with, lol.

    Shout outs

    All base card/suit art is made by okartichoke and eclecticjaceart - huge shout outs to them for letting me use their art (with permission)! The rest of the art is primarily official Ace Attorney art, sprites, and/or game art repurposed and recolored/edited by me where needed, and occasionally some Ace Attorney merch images. I don't claim to own any of this, Ace Attorney is not mine and of course belongs to Capcom. This is my first time publishing a mod like this, so my apologies in advance if anything isn't quite right!
