Optional DoF tweaks for LightDof.fx

Open the ReShade configuration window in-game

and adjust the following sliders to your preference

Please note: Higher resolutions may require more DoF Amount

LightDof.fx > Bokeh Width

LightDof.fx > DoF Amount

Bokeh Width (Grain) is set to 1. 100 by default

DoF Amount (Blur) is set to 0. 600 by default

My DoF settings

Bokeh Width = 1. 100

DoF Amount = 0. 700

Ultra DoF settings

DoF Amount = 0. 030

Too much color?

Adjust the slider for Colorfulness to your preference

Colorfulness is set to 0. 600 by default

Resolution: 2560x1080

In-game resolution modifier: 200%

In-game graphics: High / Very High

Volumetrics Clouds: Medium

Anti-Aliasing: Medium

Part 1: For Beginners. Advanced users check step 1 and skip to step 5.

1) Download the latest version of ReShade from here https://reshade.me/

2) Run the ReShade setup and locate ACOdyssey.exe

-(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Odyssey)

3) Select 'Direct3D 10+'

4) Select 'Yes' to download standard effects and click 'Uncheck All'

5) Select the following effects which are required to run VividFX REDUX

-AmbientLight.fx

-Clarity.fx

-FilmGrain2.fx

-GaussianBlur.fx

-LiftGammaGain.fx

-LightDoF.fx

-LumaSharpen.fx

6)Download VividFX from Nexus

7) Place the unzipped .ini files in the base game folder for ACO

-(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Odyssey)

Part 2: For Beginners. Advanced users, select VividFX in-game

1) Start the game

2) Press the Home key to open ReShade and run the tutorial

3) Select 'Continue' then open the drop down menu and select VividFX REDUX

4) 'Continue'

5) 'Continue'

6) 'Finish' the tutorial

7) Go to Reshade settings and set the toggle key to your preference

-Personally I prefer using Scroll Lock as my toggle key

8) Be sure to set the ReShade usage mode to Performance mode.

9) Close the ReShade configuration window

Part 3: That's it! Play the game and enjoy my preset :D

Delete the following files and folder from your ACO folder.
