Player Customizations

  This mod has not been updated for game v1. 5. 6 and likely won't work at all

This is a collection of patches for Forger that changes aspects of Alexios' and Kassandra's appearance.

Version 2 mods (Alexios/Kassandra/Outfit Customizers) are recommended as the place to start.  V1 and V2 use very different approaches to making changes and generally cannot be used together, but exceptions are noted below.

Faster Startup Sequence

You will need to restart the game many times to see the changes applied by the mods below.  You can dramatically speed up the game startup time by disabling the opening video sequences.  In your game folder, rename the following files:

  Version 1 mods

  Hairstyles for Alexios/Kassandra

  These mods make changes to the original Alexios and Kassandra models.  The changes are limited and are generally not maintained.

  • []Hairstyle/Beard - Choose between the hairstyles already available to NPCs.  Only one style or beard can be active at a time.  Thanks to BornApart for providing the Kassandra hair images!

    []Vanilla Hairstyle Color - Choose a color for the default Alexios/Kassandra hairstyle.  This change also appears on the Template body (V2) when the Alexios/Kassandra head and default hairstyle are selected.

    []Wrinkles - Adds wrinkles to the face to make the character look older.  Affects the Alexios/Kassandra head on the Template body (V2)

    []Mood - Choose a resting mood (facial expression).  This is not intended to be playable as a mod, but is more for people who want to add personality to their screenshots.  The expression appears if no other animation is playing that changes the facial state.  Cutscenes have predefined expressions and are not affected.

    Armor customization removal

    Disables the skin and eye changes applied by select torso armors.

    • []Restore Eyes - removes the eye effects from Celestial, Helios, Mighty Herakles, and Sphinx armors.  Choose EITHER Alexios or Kassandra to match your game.

      []Remove paint/tattoos - Requires the Base Skin option.  Removes the skin effects added by Hades' Champion, Hunter, Mighty Herakles, Sacred Oracle, and Sphinx armors

      Version 2 mods (Customizers)
      Alexios/Kassandra Customizers

      Most NPCs in the game are generated using a template system.  This mod switches the player to a Template Body that can then be customized extensively.  Changes applied to vanilla Alexios/Kassandra generally do not affect the Template body.

      Warnings and Known Issues

      []Requires Forger 2. 8. 2 or later

      []Nudity and clipping - Much of the player clothing was intended to fit the Alexios and Kassandra models.  Expect the female character to have exposed or clipped breasts with some outfits.  Clipping will vary with each outfit, but will be most severe with the Fat body type.

      []Alexios/Kassandra vanilla hairstyles - The default hair and beard styles are not part of the template system.  The hairstyles are provided as choices and can be used with the Alexios/Kassandra heads, but they don't scale to fit other heads.  They also don't respond to color changes in this mod, but can be controlled using the V1 (Hairsyles) mods.

      []Conflict between Alexios Customizer and Kassandra Customizer - Each mod changes the same assets to set the hairstyles.  To switch between characters, exit the game and re-apply the hair options for the desired character.

      []"Helmet" hair issues - Read the Hair style and color section below

      [*]Hidden Headgear issues - The Toggle Headgear option on the inventory screen should be turned OFF.  Use the Visual Customization instead to hide specific pieces.
