New and Rare Sea Shanties

The base game plays the same 11 Sea Shanties AD NAUSEUM, but did you know there are actually 9 more that are either heard rarely in-game or not at all?

You can hear some versions of these on the official game soundtrack, but I was able to pull all of them out of the game files (both male and female variants) and this mod replaces the base-game shanty rotation with all of these New Shanties.

These include:

"The Fate of the Wolf"

"The Death of the Wolf"

"The Cult of Kosmos"

"The Golden Age of Athens"

"The Fall of Athens"

"Myrinne"

"The Mysterious Minotaur"

"The Legend of The Hero"

"Odyssey"

Bonus: 2 more sea shanties were needed to replace the entire original rotation, so also included are two songs by "Gardzienice" that were a perfect fit and sound very similar to the game's sea shanties, from their album "Metamorfozy - Music Of Ancient Greece". However, these songs include both genders, so you'll have to headcanon that you have a mixed crew for those songs.

Rename "sounds_sfx_music.pck" in "Assassins Creed Odyssey/sounddata/PC/" to "sounds_sfx_music.bak"

Delete "sounds_sfx_music.pck" & "sounds_eng_music.pck" from "Assassins Creed Odyssey/sounddata/PC/"

Rename "sounds_sfx_music.bak" in "Assassins Creed Odyssey/sounddata/PC/" to "sounds_sfx_music.pck"
