These videos were upscaled, run through a custom post-processing pipeline, and then carefully downsampled back to their original resolution. The result is a dramatic improvement in clarity, detail, and overall image quality — without the massive file size of true 4K videos.

WHY DOWNSAMPLE BACK TO THE ORIGINAL RESOLUTION?

• []Manageable File Sizes: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is already a massive game. True 4K versions of these pre-rendered videos were roughly 5× larger and simply weren’t worth the massive storage footprint for the relatively small visual gain.[/]

  []Quality Beyond Pixel Count: Visual fidelity depends on compression artifact cleanup, sharpening, and color preservation during upscaling and post-processing, not just raw pixel numbers. These refined files are only ~45% larger than vanilla videos, yet yield a stark improvement in clarity (check the comparison screenshots!).[/]

  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  Easy Drop-in Setup:

  Extract the contents of the zip file directly into the root directory of your Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game folder. Allow it to overwrite the existing files when prompted.
