Perk Picker

Choose your villagers' perks at the Eye of Odin instead of accepting whatever the game rolls.

What it does

When the Eye of Odin offers you a newcomer, the middle candidate slot becomes a scrollable perk list with the game's own icons and tooltips. Click the perks you want. The villager on the left is summoned with them.

• []Mixed picking. Perks you choose are guaranteed. Slots you leave alone keep the perk the game rolled, up to the game's maximum of five.[/]

  []Native interface. Real perk icons, real tooltips, built into the existing panel. No overlay windows.[/]

  []No wasted picks. Perks that are not implemented in the current game build are hidden, so you cannot spend resources on one that silently fails to apply.[/]

  Each perk you add costs 1 Jotun Blood. Rolled perks you decide to keep are free.

  Nothing is spent until you confirm the summon, so you can browse and change your mind freely. You must have Jotun Blood in the player inventory.

  Installation

  Requires BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP), the x64 build for Unity IL2CPP games.

  Extract the archive into your ASKA folder so the file lands at:

  ASKA\BepInEx\plugins\PerkPicker.dll

  Configuration

  A config file is created at

  BepInEx\config\PerkPicker.cfgon first launch. You can change the perk cap, the hotkey, whether the list opens automatically, which perks are hidden, and the cost item and amount, or turn the cost off entirely.

  Compatibility

  Perk Picker does not add a reroll of its own and does not touch villager generation. Rerolling repopulates the panel and the perk list comes straight back.

    Notes

    The perk list takes over the middle slot, so you trade one of the two villagers choices for the ability to pick perks on the other. The revive slot on the right is untouched.

    Existing villagers are not affected. This only applies to new summons.
