Kharg Island Map

This map was created by my friend "Wu Gou Ying Xue Ming". Kharg Island is located in the northwestern Persian Gulf, 25 to 32 kilometers away from the Iranian mainland. It is a strategic stronghold of vital importance that combines both military and energy core value despite its small size. The island handles approximately 90% of Iran's crude oil exports and is heavily garrisoned by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It has established a three-dimensional defense system consisting of air defense missiles, coastal anti-ship missiles, unmanned aerial vehicle reconnaissance, mine emplacements and radar surveillance networks, serving as a strategic outpost for the Strait of Hormuz. Controlling or paralyzing the island can instantly cut off the economic lifeline sustaining Iran's war effort and dominate the global oil passage, making it the most critical military target and absolute red line in the geopolitical competition of the Persian Gulf. The island has an airport in the north and an oil storage area in the south. Since the game does not include oil tank models, the author has replaced them with warehouses.
