S. Offensive Tactics (Northwest Assault) Core Concept Leverage armored superiority to rapidly breakthrough, split Soviet defenses, capture all town hexes west of the river, and push toward total victory. 1. Force Deployment & Phased Advance Phase 1 (Breakthrough & River Crossing) Deploy 2 Abrams platoons as the main assault force, advancing rapidly along the arrow-marked open terrain to suppress Soviet forward infantry and BMP-1s, tearing a gap in the defense line. Attach 1 M901 platoon to the advance, focusing on hunting Soviet T-72 tanks and Sagger missile positions to secure the armored assault. Split M113 + Dragon platoons into two groups: one follows the tank group to disembark and occupy riverbank woodlands after crossing, establishing an anti-tank defense line; the other flanks northeast to threaten Soviet flanks and divert their forces.
