Red Army City Map

This map was created by my friend "Wu Gou Ying Xue Ming". The Red Army City Map covers the core Donbas theater, located on the middle Donets River plain, with mixed water networks, woodlands, and urban areas. A contested transportation hub and strongpoint in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, it features dense urban structures ideal for solid defensive systems, while the surrounding terrain favors armored maneuver and encirclement. It was also a key WWII Eastern Front battlefield. During the Cold War, it served as typical terrain for Eastern European urban combat, positional warfare, and deep defense. Ideal for battalion- to brigade-level urban combat, key-point holding, and counterattacks, it stands as a classic wargaming scenario for modern positional warfare and Cold War mechanized offensive–defensive operations.
