Tactics Challenge 6 - Bogged Down

I'm back baby. For today's challenge we are headed back to the Commonwealth and terrible terrain. This challenge tasks you with pushing along the Highway between Barnitz and Klein Wesenberg, clearing a holding force of VDV and low quality reserves. Enemy AT covers the road at multiple points. The skill challenge here is balancing a narrow line of advance with maintaining weight of fire. The ground is poor, rain is expected and visibility is low. Heavy tracked vehicles have a strong possibility of bogging down if they spend to much time off the main roads. Try to locate the enemy, bring your armor forwards and spread it off the road. to create a wall of fire to cover your limited infantry as they close to assault. Your other main enemy will be time. With 4 objectives your tickets will continue to tick down for most of your session. Finding a balance between aggressive attacks and force preservation will be key to keeping yourself in the fight all the way to Obj. King. Difficulty Rating: 8/10
