Grayson's vanilla trades are both a bit underwhelming and a bit weird. Buckshot can be traded for wood, which you will be swimming in even by the time you unlock the trade, but on the other hand 5. 56 ammo is so expensive as to basically never be worth trading for.

The intent of this mod is to make acquiring ammo from Grayson more sustainable. This is accomplished by increasing the ammo given per trade and number of trades available, but also by completely changing the resources Grayson trades for. He is a hungry man, and finding food in the Cascade facility isn't exactly easy, so he will now trade his stock for a wide variety of food items.

Grayson now has the following trades:

  []8x 9mm Ammo for 1x Super Tomato (6 trades available)[/]

  []4x 12g Buckshot for 1x Space Lettuce (3 trades available)[/]

  []6x . 357 Magnum Ammo for 1x Xanterium Rice (4 trades available)[/]

  []2x . 308 Ammo for 1x "Egg" (4 trades available)[/]

  []5x 5. 56 Ammo for 1x Corn (12 trades available)[/]

  []1x Intermediate Gun Repair Kit for 1x Cooked Peccary Sausage (1 trade available)[/]

  []NEW: 2x PETN for 1x Single Colorful Maki (6 trades available) (Unlocks after Dusk Reactor)[/]

  Overall this should make trading with him more fulfilling, and give a reason to make larger farms besides. Note that swapping magnetic alloy for corn in the 5. 56 trade makes it available slightly later in the game - Power Services rather than Hydroplant - but the vastly better exchange rate should make up for this. There's only one gun in Hydroplant that uses 5. 56 ammo, anyway, so it being scarce for a bit seems right.

  As an unrelated bonus feature, this mod also fixes a longstanding bug with one of Dr. Carson's trades - her Shadowberry Tea trade will now unlock when you first enter Shadowgate, instead of never unlocking.

  Installation

  NOTE: Version 2. 0 of this mod REQUIRES the latest version of UE4SS, 1. 20. 0, found here. The default Nexus Mods version will not work as it does not have support for changing data tables.

  To install, simply extract into your UE4SS/Mods folder.

  If the latest version of UE4SS causes crashes for you, you can try one of the pak versions of this mod under old files - note however that they are considered unsupported.

  Compatibility

  Thanks to UE4SS, this mod is compatible with everything! It is even compatible with other mods that modify traders, although its changes to Grayson will generally overwrite any changes those modes make to Grayson.
