What This Mod Does

We're brilliant scientists who travel through space and time, create weapons out of batteries and staplers... but sometimes it's difficult counting how many bullets we're carrying. This mod lets you learn how to count again.

Vanilla Abiotic Factor's HUD shows your current magazine ammo next to the magazine capacity (so a crossbow will always show 1 | 1 when loaded, even if you have 50 arrows). This mod replaces the capacity number with your total inventory ammo count, so you can see at a glance how many rounds you actually have available.

Particularly useful so you stop going out to explore and realize you forgot your ammo back at base.

Color Coding

The inventory count is color-coded based on how much ammo you have left:

• []Red - Out of ammo

  []Yellow - Low ammo (one magazine/reload or less by default)

• Cyan (default UI color) - Plenty of ammo

  The yellow threshold automatically adapts to each weapon - 10 rounds for the 9mm pistol, 10 for the grinder, 1 arrow for the crossbow, etc.

  Configuration

  Everything is customizable via config.lua:

  Custom Threshold: Override the automatic threshold with a fixed number if you prefer (e.g., make it always turn yellow with 20 rounds regardless of weapon)

  Custom Colors: All three colors use standard 0-255 RGB values. Defaults match the game's UI style but you can change them to whatever you want.

  Installation

  Requires UE4SS on NexusMods or GitHub. Extract the zip file to AbioticFactor\Binaries\Win64 and you're good to go.
