📋 About This Mod

Stash & Fetch

Craft From Storage

Your base, without the boxes.

You come home from a run with a full bag. Normally that's ten boxes, ten open-close cycles, and a lot of dragging. Then you decide to craft something, and you do the whole thing again in reverse — hunting the box with the springs in it, then the one with the forged steel.

Three keys and a crafting window, instead:

  • []Press ; in the middle of your base and every storage box around you takes back what it already holds — nails to the nails box, brass to the brass box, corn to the food box. Whatever's new stays in your bag.[/]

[]Press ' and it runs backwards: every material you're short of for whatever you're tracking comes straight back out, in exactly the amount needed.[/]

[]And open any crafting window — your boxes now count as your backpack. A recipe whose materials are on a shelf across the room is lit, not greyed. Press Craft and it fetches them and makes the thing.[/]

No box ever opens. Each takes about a second.

  • []Stash — quick-stack to everything nearby (default ;). Out in the world, restocks every one of your storage boxes in range at once, without opening any of them.[/]

[]Fetch — whatever you're tracking (default '). The reverse. Track a recipe, a trader's fetch quest or a challenge, press it, and what you're still short of comes out of those same boxes, in exactly the amount needed. The quest ticks itself off as the items land in your bag.[/]

[]Craft from storage. The crafting window counts your nearby containers as if they were your backpack: recipes light up as craftable, the have/need numbers include them, and the count box and MAX count them. Press Craft and it gathers that recipe's materials, hands the window back, and finishes the craft.[/]

[]Vehicles and your drone too. Both ; and ' also reach the cargo of nearby vehicles (anything with a storage part) and your junk drone — your own rides only, and still fully client-side.[/]

[]Say how many — a menu on Alt+'. No typing. A row of plain numbers jumps to that count, a row of signed ones nudges it, and MAX prints the number it would set. The list of what it's about to pull redraws as you dial.[/]

[]Or say it in the chat box. /qs 2500, /qs +100, /qs max. That command carries a shopping list of its own, so several recipes can be gathered for at once instead of one tracked thing at a time.[/]

[]It follows sub-recipes. An auger needs bicycle handlebars — with none anywhere, ' brings back the handlebars' materials too and tells you to craft those first. Finished parts always win: forty handlebars in a box are used as forty handlebars, never re-made.[/]

[]Quick-stack (default X). With a container open, your backpack refills the item types that container already holds — one key, no dragging.[/]

[]Sort (default Z). Sorts your backpack, and the open container too if you want.[/]

[]Add to list — a button in the crafting window. Press it on any recipe and that recipe joins your shopping list, for the number in the batch counter beside it. Press it on a second recipe and the list adds up: two things that both want glue become one number, not two separate hunts.[/]

[]A panel that shows what you're still short of, on screen while you go and get it, updating as your bags fill. It follows a missing part into its own recipe, names the station each sub-craft needs, and says for every material both how much is wanted and how much is actually in reach.[/]

[]Rebind by pressing the key. /qs key fetch, then press whatever key you want. A key name in a config file names a key by where it sits on a US keyboard — which is why the defaults were unreachable on AZERTY. The rebind reads your own layout instead.[/]

[]Playing on a shared base. An ally's land claim counts as your own — for stashing, fetching and crafting alike — and it's a switch, not an assumption.[/]

[]Speaks your language. Every prompt is localized — English plus German, Spanish, French, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese, with any other language falling back to English.[/]

Every key is configurable, and nothing here is a new button or a new window — it's the game's own storage code, triggered from the keyboard.

📊 Pros & Cons

  • Streamlines looting and crafting by eliminating container opening.
  • Tight QoL focus with a small but active user base (23 endorsements).
  • Recent update (August 2026) shows the author is still maintaining it.

⚠️ Cons

  • Low endorsement count (23) means it's not widely tested.
  • Potential conflicts with other inventory or crafting overhauls.
  • No mention of compatibility with popular mods like SkyUI or other UI mods.
🎯 Is This For You?
For loot goblins who hate stopping to sort bags and crafters who want to pull materials without menu diving. Also great for players who want a more fluid, action-oriented gameplay loop.
