Custom Avatars (for v.3.0)

Custom Avatars for 7 Days to Die transforms your survivor into someone uniquely yours, replacing the default player model with your own creations. This isn’t just a cosmetic swap—it injects a layer of social expression into the apocalypse, letting you break character with a full suite of dances, gestures, and a playable third-person camera that makes every moment feel cinematic.

Once installed, a new Avatar Menu button appears inside your Character window. From there, you can select your custom model, tweak settings, or hit Reset Avatar to revert to the vanilla look at any time. The fun extends beyond idle posing: hold the Tab key to open a radial menu for dances and gestures, canceling animations with another tap. The standout Copy Dance feature syncs your moves with a nearby player, creating impromptu co-op choreography that’s perfect for server-wide shenanigans. You can even cycle through multiple pages of animations and override your character’s voice with Male/Female presets.

This mod requires EAC disabled and installation on both client and server. Simply extract the zip into your `%APPDATA%/7DaysToDie/Mods` folder. Upgrading from the older VRoid Mod? Copy your existing avatars into the new folder before removing the old version—then step into the wasteland with a personality that’s all your own.
