This standalone patch extracts those superior high-resolution assets directly from Enemy Within and backports them straight into Enemy Unknown—restoring full visual consistency across both titles.

XCOM ULTIMATE VISUAL SUITE (PART 1)

This parity patch serves as the official, un-upscaled baseline. It is designed to stand alone for a clean vanilla upgrade, or serve as the required foundational layer for the companion upscale mods in this suite:

  You only need this Parity Patch if you own standalone Enemy Unknown (without the Enemy Within expansion) and want a clean, un-upscaled graphical upgrade. If you plan to use the full HD Upscales, grab Mod 2 for Enemy Unknown or Mod 3 for Enemy Within instead.

  REQUIREMENTS & SETUP

  CRITICAL PREREQUISITE — TFC INSTALLER:

  This mod requires TFC Installer to inject high-resolution texture file packages directly into the game's asset archives.

  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  Step 1: Download & Extract

  1. Download the main archive from the Files tab.

  2. Extract the contents to a temporary folder on your PC using 7-Zip or WinRAR.

  Step 2: Run TFC Installer

  1. Open TFC Installer and point it toward your XCOM: Enemy Unknown installation directory.

  2. Load the extracted texture packages into the tool and click Install.

  3. Allow the installer to complete the repacking process before launching the game.

  ✓ All Set! Launch XCOM: Enemy Unknown and enjoy native Enemy Within visual parity.
