A fan-fiction mod, that brings the Ancients (the Gate Builders) into the game.

The mod includes the following content:

• []4 new sectors for the main galaxy

  []4 new fully functional Ancient races

  []4 new fully functional Ancient factions

  []Full set of ships, equipment, and station modules for all 4 Ancient races

  []4 Ancient gamestarts with full storyline, and 1 Timelines scenario

  []An Ancient storyline in the main galaxy

  BUG REPORTS:

  Before asking or reporting a bug, please read the CHM help file, included in the downloadable ZIP, and check if your current game setup, or savegame (if any) is compatible.

  SAVEGAME COMPATIBILITY:

  Can be installed mid-save. Oldest compatible mod version (for old savegames already using this mod): 0. 25

  MOD COMPATIBILITY:

  This mod is compatible with almost all sector, faction, and script mods.

  Mods that remove certain (or too many) sectors, ships, factions, or disable core storyline scripts, are not guaranteed to be compatible, however; unless the particular mod supoorts The Ancients, or there's a sub-addon available.

    MISCELLANEOUS:

    This mod is a fan-fiction mod about the Ancients. The primary source material for the mod's fundamental lore is  THE ANCIENTS, OUTSIDERS, SOHNEN AND THE BORON lore video, the X Encyclopedia, in a 80%-20% share. To fill the holes, and expand the lore, an Encyclopedia Appendix, written by Me, is published in the ZIP package.
