Pay Your Taxes

Pay Your Taxes adds periodic station tax transactions for player-owned stations in X4. Taxes are calculated from operational stations based either on station count or workforce. Positive rates pay tax income to the player, while negative rates collect tax payments from the player.

This is a complete rewrite of my old "Pay Your Taxs" mod with a new options menu and compatibility with X4 Version 9. 0 and newer.

Features

  []Shows direction-specific cockpit notifications for payouts and charges.[/]

  []Writes tax payouts and charges to the player logbook.[/]

  []Never reduces the player account below 0 Cr. when collecting taxes.[/]

  []Adds an in-game options menu through SirNukes Mod Support APIs.[/]

  []Adds optional diagnostic logging with global and tax event controls.[/]

  Positive values pay credits to the player. Negative values deduct credits from the player, limited to the current account balance. Unpaid amounts are not carried forward.

  Tax Settings

  Default values:

  • []Collection interval: 15 minutes.[/]

    []Tax basis: workers.[/]

    []Base tax per station: 25,000 Cr.[/]

    []Tax per worker: 100 Cr.[/]

    Options

    The options menu lets you configure:

      []Tax per worker.[/]

      []Cockpit tax transaction notifications.[/]

      []Global diagnostic logging.[/]

      []Tax event logging.[/]

      []Reset all options to their defaults.[/]

      Logging is disabled by default and should normally stay disabled unless you are diagnosing an issue.

        SirNukes Mod Support APIs provides the Simple Menu API used by the in-game options menu.

        Languages

        Installation

        Copy the ice_pay_your_taxes folder into your X4 extensions directory and enable the extension in the game's Extensions menu.
