Some Information Before You Start

The idea behind this mod list is the fact that I wanted to bring as much complexity to the game without sacrificing gameplay quality and FPS.

This mod list has been tested for a total of 2 days gameplay and it runs smoothly with just a few minor bugs.

The system used for testing comprises of 32 GB RAM,  XFX Radeon 480 video card with 8 GB GDDR5 and i7-9700K CPU with SSD.

Firstly how to install the mods

Before we start we need to explain how you can install the mods in X4: Foundations.

First thing first you just need a mod. After you download it from the NexusMods or from any other place you just need to place it in a specific directory game installation folder. The folder is called "Extensions" and if you don't have it you will need to create one for yourself. After that, you need it to unarchive it in the extensions folder.

Mods that require special attention

1. DeadAir Gate Overhaul

The reason I have chosen this mod is that it gives 39 new sectors that you can explore and attack/defend. In other words, it brings more complexity to the game, an idea that you will find it repeated time and time again in my youtube videos and mod lists. Just install the main file called "DeadAirGate Overhaul" and move forward.

In order to get this big mod work in the same way it works for me, you need to do the following things to adjust:

a. In the requirements tab of DeadAir gate Overhaul, you will have Faction War/Economy Enhancer. Just click on that offsite requirement and download the archive. From that archive just pick "faction_fix_pack" folder and put it into your extensions folder.

b. The next step is to go in the files section of the mod and find "DeadAir God" and "DeadAirWW" and then download+install them in the same folder.

c. Before we finish we also need to fix some repetitive sectors by using DeadAir Gate Overhaul Patch and install it in the same way as before.

d. Also, install "DeadAirGateOverhaulFOCW" from the file section.

e. Last but not least we need to adjust the "DeadAirWW" file that you downloaded and installed in the "b." section. This step is not mandatory but I highly recommend it because it brings more aspects for new
