Witcher 3 Save Renamer

Description

This is a simple program that when activated, gives you a prompt in the game to custom name your manual, and quick saves.  It also features an in game save manager that you can pull up to view, edit, or delete your save files while in the game.  A must have program for those that want an easy way to find, and load specific quests, and spots in the story.

How It Works

Since the game has no script hooks to allow a custom save editor to work in the game, a program is necessary to launch outside of the game.  Yes, it's an .exe file.  I assure you, there are no viruses or malware.  The program produces a background task that monitors your Witcher 3 save folder for new saves.  When it detects a new save, it produces a popup window in the game for you to rename the save file.  When you stop the program and close it, all related background tasks are terminated.

When your game is in Windowed, or Borderless Window display mode, you will see the renamer popup in the game.  If you are playing in Fullscreen display mode, the game will automatically Alt+Tab to the desktop where you will see the renamer popup.  when you are done naming the save, you will automatically be returned to the game.

Installation instructions 

Download, unzip, and place the TW3 Save Renamer folder in your Witcher 3 game directory.  Open the folder and launch Tw3 Save Renamer.exe and press the "start now" button to start the "watcher" and choose the options you want.

Works on Next Gen, and Old Gen.
