About this mod

This mod provides a completely revised, atmospheric, and flawless German translation for the amazing W3EE Redux mod. Since preferences regarding inventory management and naming conventions differ, there are two versions available. You can choose the one that best fits your playthrough!

🟢 Version 1: Standard Edition (Vanilla)

This version offers a clean and faithful German translation of all new mod content. It is aimed at players who prefer the classic vanilla Witcher terminology and want to keep item names and menus exactly as they are in the unmodded base game.

Features of the Standard Edition:

• []Precise Witcher Terminology: Terms have been revised to better capture the gritty tone of the Witcher world. For example, using Todesstoß instead of the anglicism "Finisher", Ausdauer as the proper translation for Vigor, and Verwüstung for Desolation.[/]

  []Better Readability: UI options now strictly follow a clean Category: Term format.[/]

  🟠 Version 2: SNC Edition (Immersive & Clean)

  This version goes a huge step further. The goal of the SNC Edition was to adjust the German terminology to fit logically, neatly, and immersively into the dark, alchemical world of The Witcher 3. Gone are the days of cluttered inventories and annoying hyphens!

  Features of the SNC Edition:

  • []Clean Bracket System: To perfectly sort the inventory, all quality and upgrade tiers have been moved to the end of the item name in brackets. Clunky numbers (I, II, III) or leading adjectives have been replaced by atmospheric terms:

    - Blade Oils: (Extrakt) ➔ (Konzentrat) ➔ (Essenz)  - Potions: (Destillat) ➔ (Quintessenz) ➔ (Vollendung)  - Gear: ➔ (Verbessert) ➔ (Überlegen) ➔ (Meisterhaft) ➔ (Großmeister)  - Bombs: (Instabil) ➔ (Gezündet) ➔ (Verheerend)  - Runes & Glyphs: (Glimmend) ➔ ➔ (Strahlend)  (Example: "Überlegenes giftiges Öl" becomes "Giftiges Öl (Essenz)")[/]
