The Legend of the West's Spirit - Treasure Hunt Quest

This is the fruit of two people and made in a rush for the REDkit Main Category Contest:

The mod introduces a new Treasure Hunt quest: "The Legend of the West's Spirit".

Before you truly start the adventure in Wizima, Yennefer will secretly share a rumour: there is golden armour and a mystical sword hidden somewhere south of Velen. Your first objective is finding some clues on the roads to the Nilfgaardian Army Group 'Centre' Camp.

You have to carefully check the map and look on the horizon to find the whereabouts of the treasures: White Tiger of West and Vixen Swords.

Yes... the rewards are the introduced Next Gen set of equipment. We took the approach that both White Tiger and Dol Blathanna sets should be rewarded by doing quests. A complementary mod was already made for Dol Blathanna: Immersive Gears Rewards. Thus, it remains for White Tiger to hide somewhere else.

That's how the idea of Treasure Hunt came up.

How to start the quest?

On your new playthrough, the quest starts when you find Yennefer's Note in her chest in Wizima.

On an existing playthrough, the quest starts at several moments: when you find and read a note from a Bandit's Camp north of Nilfgaardian Army Group 'Centre' Camp, kill a bandit's leader in an abandoned village near the Nilfgaardian Army camp or find the abandoned tower when exploring the world.

The recommended level is 24, you'll meet foes and find treasures on your way, but things will be worse.

Installation

For newcomers/beginners: I invite you to read The Tome of Witcher 3 Modding

0 DON'T USE VORTEX!!

1. Use Witcher 3 Mod Manager, or extract the files in your game's directory, Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY Edition.

2. Launch Script Merger. Check any conflict and if the (alphabetical) priority is correct.

How to uninstall?

Be cautious; we do not recommend uninstalling quest mods!

Delete "mod_WhiteTigerQuest" in the Mods folder and "dlcWhiteTigerQuest" in the DLC folder.
