The Ignition Project ReIGNIted - Igni FX Overhaul - Next-Gen

Dear Fellow Modders:  I have immense respect for your hard work and investment of time, I would never take from any of you without all reasonable attempts to obtain permission and give credit.  The original author of The Ignition Project, "Zwaffelengerian," (aka MonarchX) abandoned the mod in 2018 and has since deleted their Nexus account and is unreachable.  That mod also had optional features which used some assets (with permission) from other authors.  I have NOT included those optional features in this update.  This version only uses assets from MonarchX/Zwaffelengerian's main file ("Ignition Main FX").

The Ignition Project ReIGNIted FX include:

• []Semi-fluid stream of fire with smoke and refraction FX for secondary Igni skill

  []Semi-volumetric fire and smoke FX from Blood and Wine DLC for primary Igni skill

  []NPC explosion-dismemberment upon death from Igni for explosion-dismemberment-capable NPC's

  []Burn marks/ash on the ground, walls, NPC's, and Geralt from Igni

  []Temporary "sweat" on Geralt after Igni is cast and/or an enemy is killed by Igni

  []Visual FX based on Igni skill progression

  Compatibility:

  - Next-Gen Update: YES (that's the whole point! Currently works with 4. 0 hotfix 2 and 4. 01)

  - 1. 3x (Classic): NO (use the original mod)

  - Brutal Blood (Full and Lite): YES

  - Ghost Mode: I HAVE NO IDEA (for now, let's say NO?)

  Recommended Mods:

  - ZZZFX (see "Miscellaneous Files" from the mod Custom Clouds and Weather)

  • [] Increased numbers of particles (X2) for ~1500 FX effects:

    Embers, sparks, smoke, water, quests, cutscenes, dust, signs, monsters, animals, spells, characters, environment, gameplay, weapons, etc.[]Compatible with virtually everything

  • Does NOT require Custom Clouds and Weather

  - Lightsource Yrden and Igni (Lightsource Yrden And Igni)

  - The original mod's optional file HQ Upscaled Non-Puddle Blood Textures (works in Next-Gen unchanged) GET IT HERE

  Caveats & Known Issues:

  - Because of some overall changes to Next-Gen, this mod looks a little different from the original.

  - Some of the FX do look a bit dated, but they give such a different flavor to the game that I felt
