Swords On Hip When Cloaked

First off, I'd like to express my gratitude to menschfeind13 for Swords on the Hip (aka Carry Your weapons as You Want). I've been using it since I've started my The Witcher 3 playthrough along with TheRealArdCarraigh's Hoods mod. While using both (along with Accessory Slot Mod by eNoodles), I often notice myself roleplaying and removing the cloak/cape from Geralt from time to time, but wished that the vanilla placement would return when the cloaks/capes aren't in use. There wasn't anything on the Nexus like this yet (closest thing to it was Auto Hide Weapons for Cloaks, but I wanted the weapons to show up still) so I went and learned witcher script to edit Swords on the Hip's .ws file.

Breakdown of mod's function:

Geralt has an item equipped with "Cloak" or "Cape" in its name or has  the "AHW" tag 

• []Enable Swords on the Hip

Geralt does NOT have an item equipped with "Cloak" or "Cape" in its name or has  the "AHW" tag

• []Disable Swords on the Hip

  []Show Vanilla Weapons

Includes Invisible Weapons in Cutscenes Fix by Akatoshka7! (See sticky post in Swords on the Hip for more details)

There are no other tweaked files other than weapons_carrying.ws from Swords on the Hip.

As of v1. 3, Accessory Slot Mod is no longer required! The mod is now compatible with other mods that modify equipment slots!

Installation

[]Install cloak/cape mods like Hoods by TheRealArdCarraigh. (Also works with mods that are supported by Auto Hide Weapons for Cloaks)

[]Install Swords on the Hip (aka Carry Your weapons as You Want) by menschfeind13.

[](Optional) Install More Presets for Swords on the Hip by lufusol for more placement options. Highly recommended to quickly setup weapons on hip placement with capes/cloaks!

[]Install this mod via Manual Install or Vortex:

a. Vortex Install:

i. Download Version "A" using Mod Manager.

ii. Ensure Swords On Hip When Cloaked takes priority OVER Swords on the Hip in the load order.

b. Manual Install:

i. Download Version "B" manually.

ii. Drag and drop the Mods folder from the archive into your Witcher 3 root folder.

iii. Accept any prompts for overwrites.

[]Run Witcher Script Merger.

IMPORTANT:

IF YOU ARE USING VORTEX INSTALL:

DO NOT MERGE modSwordsOnHIpWhenCloaked and modWeaponsCarrying.

SET modSwordsOnHipWhenCloaked PRIORITY OVER modWeaponsCarrying ONLY!
