Due to the highly unfinished state of the Experimental version, I am retiring it; I plan to release the finished version, Smooth Movement Redux, in the coming weeks. 

Description

Smooth Movement Hotfix is an updated version of Smooth Movement by FumioShwartz, with fixes applied to several aspects of the original mod, including fixing the infamous Ciri T-pose bug. The main goal of this mod is to fix that issue, among several others, so that the rest of the Smooth Movement additions can be enjoyed without having to uninstall or disable the mod, because aside from the bugs, I genuinely feel that this mod is amazing and a must-have for anyone who wants more control over Geralt's movement speed & animations.

The Hotfix version is essentially Smooth Movement (v7 Beta 3), but with the more glaring bugs patched out. This version will receive ongoing support as it pertains to bugs or other technical issues, but it will not be developed beyond that.

I plan to release a new version, Redux, relatively soon, and it will receive continued development beyond technical support.

Features

Hotfix (v1. 03)

- All original features of Smooth Movement (v7 Beta 3) included!

- Original mod's movement tier system: Slow Walk, Fast Walk, Slow Run, Fast Run, Sprint.

- Added safeguards to prevent animation desync that were not present in the original mod.

- Alternative Horse Summoning input for controller (returning by popular request).

- Movement tier system are now shared between both Exploration & Combat.

Known Issues

Hotfix (v1. 03)

• []When using the "Run" movement tiers while in combat, performing certain actions such as attacking or blocking will occasionally cause the player's speed to reset to the default run speed, before quickly reverting back to the currently selected speed tier. [/]

  []Occasionally, some animation desync may still occur.

Installation

Do NOT manually install or use Vortex unless you know what you're doing!

If you're using Witcher 3 Mod Manager, simply drag and drop SmoothMovementHotfix.zip into your list of mods. If you previously had SmoothMovement installed, and a popup asks you if you wish to overwrite modSmoothMovement or dlcSmoothMovement, select (yes).

The original mod, Smooth Movement, is not actually required in order to install this hotfix. For more information, see Requirements below.
