## 📖 About the Ability

Quen Discharge was a fan-favorite Quen upgrade that rewarded smart defensive play. When your shield absorbed a hit, part of that damage was sent back to the attacker as a nasty electric shock. It's finally back — fully functional and integrated into the Remastered skill tree.

## ✨ Features

- Fully restored skill — appears in the Signs > Quen skill tree

- Equippable in active skill slots like any other ability

- Works with both basic Quen and Active Shield

- Scales with level: 10% / 20% / 30% damage reflection per level

- Attackers take shock damage when they hit your Quen shield

- Compatible with Bear School Set bonus

- Uses the original icon from the base game

This mod ONLY works on NEW games and NG+.

Existing saves (created before installing this mod) are NOT compatible

and will not display the Quen Discharge skill correctly.

This is an internal The Witcher 3 engine limitation — the save already

has a registered slot for the skill and the game won't rebuild it.

A Respec Potion does NOT fix this. You must start a new game or NG+.

This is not a mod bug. Even CD Projekt Red had to reset skill points

on old saves for the Remastered update.

This mod works with ANY language version of the game.

The ability uses the game's existing localized strings, so it will

display correctly whether you play in English, Portuguese, Spanish,

French, German, Russian, Polish, or any other supported language.

No additional language files are required.
