  How to use

  Install it and play. There is no menu and nothing to configure. Both parts are always on while installed.

  Recommendations

  • []Want only one of the two parts? Install only that part (see Install)[/]

    []Do not combine it with another mod that removes the same videos. One is enough[/]

    Good to know

    • []The mod adds one small settings file of its own and one small script in its own mod folder. That is all[/]

      []The loading screen recap is switched off with the game's own built-in option[/]

      []That option covers all loading screen videos, so the short travel video shown when moving between regions is switched off too[/]

      []The startup videos are skipped by a script that hooks into the game instead of replacing its script files, so there are no copied game files that go out of date after a game update[/]

      Requirements

      The Witcher 3 Remaster 5. 0. Nothing else.

      Install

      Extract the zip into your Witcher 3 folder so that these exist:

      • []bin\config\base\modNoStoryRecaps.ini (loading screen recap)[/]

        []Mods\modNoStartupVideos (startup videos)[/]

      No Script Merger step is needed. To install only one part, leave out the file or folder of the other.

      Uninstall

      • []Delete bin\config\base\modNoStoryRecaps.ini[/]

        []Delete Mods\modNoStartupVideos[/]

      Nothing needs to be restored afterwards.
