New Ciri Boots - No High Heels

This mod changes Ciri's leather boots so that she no longer runs and fights on high heels. It replaces the original (non-DLC) outfit boots in all of the outfit's variations.

My mod was inspired by ScoutBr0's Alternate Ciri Leather Boots - No High Heels, so please endorse his awesome work as well. After playing with his mod for a while, I thought the mesh could be further improved by making the boots smaller and more fitting for Ciri's slim legs, so I created a new mod from scratch. Now Ciri's boots are not only suitable for running thanks to having no high heels, but also don't look so huge anymore.

The boots mesh was exported from crowd NPCs, with its length and width scaled down to 93% in Blender, and imported as a completely new mesh with a separate 4K diffuse texture, so no NPCs are affected.

Initially, I wanted to preserve the original orange color matching the top part of Ciri's gloves, but it simply looked too much like a plastic toy (especially seeing the clean orange soles while Ciri is running), so I opted for a shade of brown matching her leather armbands. Additionally, Ciri looks like in the loading screens now, with the proper worn boots of a traveler.

The mod is not compatible with any other mods altering Ciri's original outfit entities or meshes. Give my mod higher priotity (e.g. 0).

Made with RedKit, Blender, and GIMP.
