Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) Plugin for The Witcher 3 Support

Only NG is tested and supported.

1) Fix MO2 integration

• []Moves the mod data path from "\Mods" to the root directory, allowing MO2 to properly load files from \Mods, \DLC and \bin.[/]

• []Makes "mods.settings" and "dx12user.settings" editable through MO2's built-in INI editor[/]

2) Add a new load order sorting tab to the right panel

• []Support drag-and-drop sorting: your "mods.settings" load order updates automatically. The automatic sync to "mods.settings" is toggable. [/]

• []Auto sort mods alphabetically or following the modlist order (i.e. left panel)[/]

• []You can also toggle mods on/off using checkbox.[/]

• []Support profile-specific settings for cleaner configuration management.[/]

• []Hover over a mod to see a tooltip showing which mod (from the left panel) it belongs to.[/]

3) Smart Installer Helper

• []Include a standalone installer helper plugin that automatically fixes mod folder structure (moves mod and dlc folders into the right place during installation).[/]

  Setup Instruction

  1) Install Mod Organizer 2 v2. 5. 2 anywhere EXCEPT the game folder. It is suggested to install on the same drive as the game folder for faster loading.

  2) Download and extract the Main File Plugins into the MO2 folder. The included basic plugin will replace the default one.

  3) Launch MO2 and set the Witcher 3 game paths as usual.

  4) Install Script Merger anywhere EXCEPT the game folder. Add the exe as an executable for MO2. Always run Script Merger through MO2 otherwise mods will not be detected.

  5) Add Menu Filelist Updater as another executable.

  • []Install Filelist Placeholder as a normal mod and place it at the bottom to ensure it overwrites other mods. [/]

  • []This makes all edits saved inside this placeholder mod instead of the original files.[/]
