Features

The unified experience mod combines level-gap kill bonuses and difficulty rewards. Defaults for difficulty factors are 1x, 1. 25x, 1. 75x and 2. 5x; global and source factors start at 1x. Each difficulty exposes kills, quests/activities, Axii/bribes, places of power, discoveries and other XP. Kill level-gap bonus defaults to 25% per level above Geralt, with optional filters/caps.

Global, difficulty and source multipliers multiply one another; level-gap bonuses modify kill XP upstream. Large factors use base and exponent controls, with a technical total XP ceiling of two billion. Zero optional gap/cap limits mean unlimited within engine limits. Kill notifications use the loot HUD feed without adding inventory items.

Requirements and installation

The Witcher 3 Remastered 5. 0 on PC. Legacy 1. 32/4.x compatibility is not established.

Requires Malaombra's Core >=0. 1. 0-dev (use the latest published Core).

Install Core, then this archive with Vortex. Disable the previous Malaombra Level Gap XP and Difficulty XP packages: this mod replaces both. Open Settings > Mods > Malaombra's Mods > Malaombra's Experience. For manual installation, copy the archive's Mods content into the game Mods directory; Core supplies the menu.

Compatibility and limitations

Quests and some site completions share the native reward path and cannot always be separated. Other XP catches unclassified/deferred grants. It multiplies actual rewards, not activities that normally grant no XP. Existing vanilla penalties and upstream third-party modifiers remain part of the calculation. Disabling cannot revoke XP already earned.

Release status

Version 0. 2. 0-dev. Development release used in the author's personal Vortex setup. Authored scripts have passed joint REDkit compilation and automated checks; this does not establish every retail behavior or every third-party mod combination. Back up saves before installation. No vanilla assets or third-party mod source is redistributed.
