IMPROVED Skill Point per Level

What's the purpose?

In the vanilla game, we gain a total of 159 skill points without counting special items:

1 per level up (99 skill points in total) and 1 for each Place of Power (60 skill points in total, including 30 in NG+)

But we only need 240 skill points to unlock all abilities and mutations.

Taken inspiration to Set Skill Points Per Level by pMarK.

This mod allows you to fully customise how many skill points (up to 5) you gain between levels (up to 200).

The mod proposes four presets:

Full (for a balanced playthrough where you do all Places of Power and one New Game Plus)

180 Skill Points in total:

- Level 1 to Level 29: 1 Skill Point per level.

- Level 30 to Level 90: 2 Skill Points per level.

- Level 91 to Level 100: 3 Skill Points per level.

Extra 15 (Same as Full, but for using Consistent Skill Level and Restored Content - Additional Perks)

195 Skill Points in total:

- Level 1 to Level 29: 1 Skill Point per level.

- Level 30 to Level 75: 2 Skill Points per level.

- Level 76 to Level 100: 3 Skill Points per level.

No NG+ (Either you want to start New Game Plus with all skills, or you won't...).

210 Skill Points in total:

- Level 1 to Level 29: 1 Skill Point per level.

- Level 30 to Level 70: 2 Skill Points per level.

- Level 71 to Level 90: 3 Skill Points per level.

- Level 91 to Level 100: 4 Skill Points per level.

OverPower (For making the game too easy!)

240 Skill Points in total:

- Level 1 to Level 11: 5 Skill Point per level.

- Level 12 to Level 21: 4 Skill Points per level.

- Level 22 to Level 41: 3 Skill Points per level.

- Level 42 to Level 72: 2 Skill Points per level.

- Level 73 to Level 100: 1 Skill Points per level.

Installation

For newcomers/beginners: I invite you to read The Tome of Witcher 3 Modding

0 DON'T USE VORTEX!!

1. Use Witcher 3 Mod Manager, or extract the files in your game's directory, Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY Edition.

2. Launch Script Merger and merge the script if it conflicts.

3. Run Menu Filelist Updater.

(Optional) How to fix broken Mods Settings?

Install Menu Organizer. You may also combine it with Mods Menu Category (follow the instruction in the description).

How to uninstall?

From "Mods" folder, delete "modSkillPointImproved".

From Bin folder, navigate to Bin/config/r4game/user_config_matrix/pc folder, then delete "IMPROVED_Skill_Point.xml"

Run Menu Filelist Updater.
